December 10, 2019Three Easy Ways to Reduce Sugar without Kids Noticing
December 10, 2019The last two times I went to the grocery store they didn’t have my go to pancake mix, Heart Healthy Bisquick. I’m not sure why it wasn’t in stock, but I decided why not make my own pancake mix. After trying a few different recipes I found one that I like just as much as my Bisquick, and it is easy to make.
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1.5 cups dry milk powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup baking powder
- 1 Tablespoon salt
Keep this in an air tight container and use within 3 months. Make sure you label it, so you don’t mistake it for flour! I made a label for mine with the recipe so I wouldn’t have to look it up when I needed it. When you are ready to make pancakes, then you need to add the following ingredients:
This will make 8 – 4 inch pancakes. If you want to make waffles, use 3 Tablespoons of vegetable oil instead of two.
Enjoy!
