December 16, 20195 Surprising Weight Loss Tips
January 13, 2020Happy New Year! I hope you you enjoyed celebrating with family and friends. We drove to Texas in a whirlwind trip and celebrated with all of our family. It was pure joy and chaos! I loved every minute of it! I think my favorite was having all 9 cousins together making christmas cookies that ended with a fun game of kickball.
The 12 hour drive provided me with plenty of time to think about my aspirations for 2020. I hope you took some time to set goals too. There is just something about writing down your goals that makes you more determined to make it happen. This year we amped up our new year resolutions and the whole family created a dream board. It was really fun and insightful when everyone shared.

Mark’s was very realistic and practical.
-
Mine was definitely setting some BIG goals.
-
The Eldest (age 8) has some very, very BIG dreams. β€οΈSometimes he takes after his mama. π
-
The Middle Man (age 5) didn’t quite grasp the concept but listed five fun things he likes to do. (We already almost checked off his whole list already. π)
-
That leaves us with The Baby (age 2) who drew some very fun scribbles of robots. π
I hope many of you set some BIG goals too! I know most of you set some health goals! I’m so glad you care about yourself enough to understand the importance of your health. πMake sure your goal is actionable and quantitative. Instead of saying you want to exercise more, try deciding how much you want to exercise. Three times a week for 30 minutes? Every day? Once a week? Whatever you set your goal at, it helps to define it with a number so you know if you achieve it.
I hope you have a happy, healthy 2020!!!
