February 24, 2020Getting your heart rate up for 20 minutes each day is ideal, but sometimes our busy schedules just don’t leave enough time in the day for that to happen. When you can’t squeeze in that workout here are some quick one minute office workouts that will get you moving!
Biceps
You need a filled water bottle for this one. Hold your water bottle with your arm out straight in front of you shoulder level with your palm facing the ceiling. Curl your arm towards your shoulder 15 times and then switch sides.
Core and Arms
You just need an office chair for this one. Sit with your legs crossed in front of you. With your arms, press on the armrest and engage your core to bring y
our seat about 2 inches off the chair. Hold for about 10 seconds. Repeat 5 times.
Legs
Sitting in your chair, lift one of your legs straight in front of you and hold for 5 seconds. Next lift your leg as high as you can and hold for 5 more seconds. Switch legs. Repeat three times on each side. Too simple and boring? You can always get a bit more creative and invite the whole office to join in some rowing. 😉
